Rakshabandhan literally means a tie or a knot of protection in Sanskirt. It is a symbolic renewal of the relationship between a brother and a sister. Rakshabandhan glorifies the virtues of love, affection and protection. Festivals are a celebration of togetherness and the Anubhav family celebrated Rakshabandhan on 17th August 2016. A celebration like this unites all the children in a bond of friendship and brotherhood. Our Anubhav fairies who were beautifully dressed in ethnic lehengas and suits tied RAKHIS on the wrists of their brothers, applied 'tilak' and offered them sweets. It was all done very traditionally. A beautiful festival was thus celebrated at Anubhav.
