On Wednesday the 14th of September 2016 the students and teachers at Anubhav celebrated Onam with joy and cheer. The enthusiasm and fervour on display was as though King Mahabali was visiting Anubhav. King Mahabali had a wish…….. he wanted to see his people once every year. This wish was granted by Lord Vishnu. So, at Anubhav we ensured that all were dressed in traditional wear - off white and gold. Then a beautiful rangoli made with petals and leaves was created in the school premises. Onam lunch was served on banana leaves and to make the occasion very auspicious the ‘Onam special kheer’ was made on this day. The rich cultural heritage of Kerela is on display during this ten day long festival. At Anubhav every year we relive the spirit of Onam and the philosophy that all ‘all are one’ is re enforced in this beautiful and special way.
