In keeping with the concept of 'Fruits and Vegetables', a visit to the supermarket was long overdue. In fact, last month the rain gods had played ‘spoil sport’ and the outing had to be called off. It had to be re-scheduled. Friday the 21st of October dawned and the excitement was visible and infectious. To recapitulate the concept to the students which signalled the culmination of the topic, a visit to a SUMPERARKET was organized for the play school children. The children were able to observe different varieties of fruits and vegetables and feel their different textures. It was a ‘real life learning experience’. They were so excited and explored the different counters. The toy counter was of great interest to them. It was a fun time for our children and the learning experience for them was simply awesome.
