Punjab Day

Celebrating Punjab Day

Anubhav celebrated Baisakhi on 13th April 2017 with a visit to the Atta Chakki and the children rolled out dough to commemorate this day. All festivals bring in joy and happiness.

Keeping this in mind, the spirit of Baisakhi was  carried further into the week by celebrating the spirit and culture  of Punjab on Friday the 21st of April 2017.The children came beautifully dressed in traditional Punjabi attire with all the accessories. Dhol beats and Punjabi folk songs added to the fervour and joy. The children brought traditional Punjabi food like 'makki  ki roti',sarson da saag, rajma -chawal '  in their tiffins to share with their friends.  The motive behind the celebrations is to basically connect the children to their rich cultural heritage and keep alive the Punjabi  culture and tradition.
