PICNIC TO THE LODI GARDENS
Winter is the time for outings, picnics and excursions. Lodhi Gardens is a park situated in the heart of Delhi. It contains the tomb of Muhammed Shah. Spread over 90 acres, it is an ideal spot for walks and picnics. In the middle of the garden is the Bara Gumbad (Big Dome). It is a park which suits all age groups. There is something magical about this park. Our Playschool children went for a picnic on Thursday the 17th of Feb 2017. On reaching the park, the children first gathered in front of the dome. They explored the lawns, played games and closely examined the different flower beds. Mats and blankets were then spread on the lawns..................the children then sat down to enjoy their muffins, chips and Frooties. They returned back to the Centre physically tired but very happy.
