BASANT PANCHAMI CELEBRATIONS AT ANUBHAV
13 years ago Anubhav came into existence on Basant Panchami day. Basant Panchami is a festival which marks the onset of the spring season. On this day Goddess Saraswati - a symbol of knowledge and wisdom is worshipped. Being our founding day, we had a Havan on our premises. On this day we celebrate the fact that we have been in this service and we invoke the Goddesses’ blessings to carry on this mission of ours. Children came dressed in yellow-yellow being associated with wisdom and cheerfulness. Students were also asked to bring yellow food in their tiffins to share with each other. Yellow sunflowers were painted on their foreheads. The students, staff and teachers assembled to pay homage to Goddess Saraswati as the priest performed the 'havan 'and blessed the children. 'Prasad' was distributed. A very significant day was thus celebrated. Anubhav rings in yet another year of its existence with the belief that 'Winter always turns to Spring'.
